CoffeeBreak Study = Abiding in Christ….

Marshann Ludema is our faithful and fearless CoffeeBreak leader. Marshann has led the Coffeebreak ministry for 18 years. This CoffeeBreak season we have done a study titled Encountering Jesus. This study taught us how intentional Jesus is in reaching out to all of us. In mid March we started a new study titled Abiding in Christ and expect to learn many interesting things about our relationship with Christ. Women ranging in age from their mid-twenties to eighty plus years meet Wednesday mornings from 9-11.
Children ages three to five have Little Lambs during this time and infants are cared for in the nursery. Karilyn Ridder and Kristi Trumble are there each week caring for the children.

From World Renew (formerly CRWRC) “There is a great need for volunteers in April and May with few signed up to serve. We are still receiving many Unmet Need Assessment requests from the East Coast and anticipate sending out two teams per month for approximately 6 months.” For more information contact drs@worldrenew.net.

Salaam Project =

Salaam Project Conference on Islam. The Salaam Project was developed by the denomination in response to questions regarding Islam and outreach to Muslims. The Salaam Project invites you to attend a conference dealing with such questions. The date is February 23 at Calvin Theo-logical Seminar. For more information visit www.crwm.org/calvin.

Coffee Break/ Little Lambs meets on Wednesday at 9:00. Our lesson this week is from Luke 7:36-50: a woman comes to Jesus out of her need.

Coffee Break/ Little Lambs meets on Wednesday at 9:00. This week we will be taking a look at Nicodemus and his search for truth (John 3:1-21). Women, you are always welcome to join us whether you have a child in Little Lambs or not!

Coffee Break/ Little Lambs will meet this week. We will be discussing the topic: As We Forgive Others, from Matthew 6: 5-15. All women are welcome to join us anytime!

Operation Christmas Child
Thanks again to all who participated in this international ministry. Pastor Ben Ridder and Joel Pepper delivered 81 boxes from this church to the LeValley United Methodist Church, the local Relay Center.
Our 81 boxes were a part of the 2153 collected there, which were transported to the Grand Rapids Relay Center , which collected 21,470 boxes. From Grand Rapids the boxes were shipped to the Processing Center in Boone, North Carolina, and from there they will be sent around the world.
For anyone interested, there is a celebration set at the LeValley UMC for 10 am Saturday, February 16.

Second offering this morning will be for Open Doors, a ministry dedicated to getting the Word of God in hard to reach places.
