Stop by and check on the progress of the vegetables that will be offered free of charge later this growing season.  We always welcome individuals who would like to get their hands dirty weeding the fields.

Currently the “garden” has suffered water, water, water…but this growing season is going to be our best.

as of May 29..it is ready for or nearly ready for seeds….

Many hands make light work…we hope you will join us to weed and nurture the plants as they grow.  When they mature, you can enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Germination has taken place and the rows are visible….. actually so are the weeds…….

The rain has slowed the growth this year.  Why doesn’t that work on the weeds as well!

Harvest CRC will be  looking for volunteers to assist with planting and eventual “weeding” in the Harvest Community Garden during the 2010 season.  All “fruits” of your labor, will be made available for the community free of charge.  You do not need to be a member of Harvest to till and weed the garden, this is a true community happening!

Won’t you consider joining those already signed up!

What a great season it has been!  We gave away bushels of green beans, corn, peppers, tomatoes, onions and squash.  Thanks to those who brought in produce from your own gardens.  Our garden improves each year as more people become involved in making it a wonderful success!
