Lakewood High School hallways held table upon table of pizza and pop for the 600 young people in attendance. Adult volunteers, ready to pitch in where needed, numbered over 150. Each participating church, had a table-top display encouraging the attendees to join them for their church’s youth activity.
For over 2 hours, music, skits and inspirational speakers kept the attention of the youth. When the call to commit or re-commit their life to Jesus was offered, over 300 young people gathering in small groups, answered the altar call and were led in prayer by the adult volunteers.
