WILL NOT meet today.
Please join us for coffee and fellowship time following the service this morning.
This morning we welcome to bring God’s Word to us Pastor Doug Kamstra. Pastor Kamstra is the Prayer and Discipleship Team Leader with Home Missions. Pastor Ridder is preaching at the tent service of Pine Grove Christian Reformed Church in How-ard City.
Children’s Worship for ages 3-6 will not meet today. During the months of July and August CW will be offered only on a ‘volunteer available’ basis. There is a sheet on the back table to sign if you are interested. You will receive materials in advance of your week. If you have any questions regarding the format, please contact Tammy Bomhof at 374-8788.
Workcampers: A group from Harvest left yesterday for a week of service in Nashville. Please keep them in your prayers as they represent the hands and feet and voice of our Lord.
Prayer Walks. Walk and pray for our community on Tuesday evening at 7 or Wednesday morning at 9. There are prayer guides available in the mailbox outside the church office. Please mark your route on the wall map there by the office door.
Elders Meeting this Tuesday night at 7:00.
Our Harvest community garden is ripening! We will be offer-ing free produce beginning this Tuesday and continuing through the harvest season each Tuesday and Thursday from 9am—12 noon here at church. If you have extra produce in your garden, bring it in to share with those who could use it. Garden volunteers meet on Wednesday at Lee Jackson’s at 7:00 pm to weed, water, and harvest.
Men With Tools Volunteers—if you haven’t picked up your copy of the call chain from your mailbox or from the back table, please do so today. Projects are being lined up.
Harvest’s Church Picnic is scheduled for next Sunday, July 31 at DeJong’s lake. Activities begin at 2:00 with picnic at 5:00. Fishing is available until 2:00. Plan to bring a dish or two to share—meat and beverage will be provided.. Also, bring beach gear—chairs, towels, suits, etc.
Nazareth VBS at Harvest has been planned (August 14-18), but volunteers are still needed. If you can help in any way, it is urgent that you sign the sheet on the back table TODAY. The planning committee will then make a decision about whether we have enough volunteers to continue. If you already signed up, please do so again. The original sign up sheet was misplaced so we do not know who has signed up so far.
The Needs List for VBS is on the back table. Please check to see if there are any items you would like to donate or loan. Contact Lisa Jackson 616-902-1815 or Mary Murray 374-1218 if you have any questions .
Church Directory Updates. Please check to see if your page needs any updated information—address, phone numbers, dates, and call the church office (374-8697) with any changes. If you would like to update your picture you can submit a digital photo, or you can look for Lisa Jackson, who will be taking photos on Sundays for the next few weeks.
